I'm a US-born journalist who has lived in Ireland for 20 years studying traditional ways of life; I write a weekly column for the Irish Nationalist newspapers, as well as articles for The American Conservative, First Things, Mother Earth News, Front Porch Republic, the Dallas Morning News and others. I’ve appeared on RTE television and mentioned on the BBC programme QI.
